The immune boost you will thank us for later!

The immune boost you will thank us for later!

Autumn is well and truly here, that magical time of year when the days get colder, yet everything seems warmer. The sun sets lower and earlier in the day, allowing us to pay attention to the golden warmth around us.

Some of us may be finding it hard to come to terms with the summer slowly becoming a distant memory, as we prepare for daylight saving and the dreaded flu season. In this blog, we will be sharing our best kept ‘not so secret’ immune-boosting supplements along with three delicious recipes to share with family and friends.

Vitamin D

As the sunny days grow shorter and we move closer to the winter months, we may find our immune systems have to work twice as hard to fight off colds, cases of flu and the feeling of fatigue. Our bodies need an adequate level of vitamins and minerals to fight against infections.

It's a fact that increasing your daily dose of Vitamin D, also known as the ‘sunshine vitamin’, is essential to maintaining healthy bones, muscles, teeth and the normal function of the immune system. Supplementing Vitamin D allows us to stay as active as ever throughout the autumn and winter months and helps keep infections at bay.
